Myrne (Ukrainian Мирне ; Russian Мирное / Mirnoje ) is an urban-type settlement in eastern Ukraine in the Donetsk Oblast with around 1,800 inhabitants.
The urban-type settlement is located on a branch of the railway line from Donetsk to Mariupol , 63 kilometers south of the Donetsk oblast center and 26 kilometers southeast of the Wolnovacha district center.
The place was founded in 1951 as an industrial settlement for the mining of the large granite deposits and received the status of an urban-type settlement in 1967. Until the end of 2014 the place was in Telmanowe Raion , but was then assigned to Wolnowacha Raion due to the acts of war during the war in Ukraine .
