Laryne ( Ukrainian Ларине ; Russian Ларино Larino ) is an urban-type settlement in eastern Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast with about 4900 inhabitants.

The urban-type settlement is located in the southeast of the Donetsk metropolitan area and belongs to the Budyonny district , about nine kilometers from the Donetsk city ​​and oblast center on the Kalmius River. The village of Pavlohradske (Павлоградське) also belongs to the settlement council of the same name .

The place was founded in 1872 in the course of the construction of a railway line, it received the status of an urban-type settlement in 1938, in the summer of 2014 there were fighting in the place during the Ukraine war , which has since been in the hands of the separatists of the Donetsk People's Republic .
