Schabelkiwka ( Ukrainian Шабельківка ; Russian Шабельковка Schabelkowka ) is an urban-type in the center of the Ukrainian oblast Donetsk with about 4400 inhabitants (2014).

The village, first mentioned in writing in 1767, received the status of an urban-type settlement on November 15, 1938 and is the administrative center of the settlement council of the same name, to which the urban-type settlements Oleksandriwka , Sofijiwka and Yasna Polyana belong.

Schabelkiwka located about 100 km northeast of the Oblastzentrum Donetsk and about 10 km east of Kramatorsk , it belongs administratively to the city circle.
