Rossypne ( Ukrainian Розсипне ; Russian Рассыпное Rassypnoje ) is an urban-type settlement in the east of the Ukrainian Donetsk Oblast with about 5000 inhabitants (as of 2014).
From an administrative point of view, Rossypne belongs to the municipality of Tores, 18 km to the south, and was elevated to an urban-type settlement in 1956. North of the village is the village of the same name, Rossypne . At the settlement there is a train station of the Donetska Salisnytsya .
The cockpit area of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, which crashed in 2014, was found in a sunflower field near Rossypne .
population
In 2001 the population was 5101 people and in 1959 5990 people inhabited the city. Much of the working male population works as miners in the nearby mines.
