Pervomajskyj (Ukrainian Первомайський ; Russian Первомайский / Pervomaiski ) is an urban-type settlement in eastern Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast with about 1200 inhabitants.

geography

The urban-type settlement located in the Don Basin , about 65 kilometers east of Oblastzentrum Donetsk and 6 kilometers south from the center of Snizhne to the city county counts them away.

The site is within the city Snizhne own municipal council municipality which includes the settlements of urban type Pervomaiske and Pobjeda and the settlement Tscherwonyj Schowten (Червоний Жовтень) count through the town the river flows Balka Kuzenka (Балка Куценька), a tributary of the Wilchowtschyk (Вільховчик ) in a southeasterly direction.

history

Pervomajskyj was established in 1910, received urban-type settlement status in 1938 and has been occupied by separatists from the Donetsk People's Republic since summer 2014 during the war in Ukraine .
