Udachne (Ukrainian Удачне ; Russian Удачное / Udachnoye ) is an urban-type settlement in the Ukrainian Donetsk Oblast .

The town is the administrative center of the settlement council Municipality in Rajon Pokrowsk to which even the villages Molodezke ( Молодецьке ) Murawka ( Муравка ) Nowomykolajiwka ( Новомиколаївка ) and Nowoserhijiwka ( Новосергіївка ) belong.

Udatschne is located near the border of the oblast Dnipropetrowsk north of the river Solona (Солона), a tributary of the Wowtscha 70 kilometers north-west of the Oblastzentrum Donetsk and 13 kilometers west of Rajonzentrum Pokrowsk . Through the village runs the territorial road T-04-06 and the railway line from Pokrovsk to Chaplyne ( railway line Kryvyi Rih-Jassynuwata ).

The place was founded in the 1890s in connection with the construction of the railway line and a train station in today's place, since 1985 the place has had the status of an urban-type settlement.

To the north of the village is the Svyato-Warwarinskaja coal factory (Свято-Варваринская).
