Pokrovka (Ukrainian and Russian Покровка ) is an urban-type settlement in eastern Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast with about 170 inhabitants.

The urban-type settlement is located in the southeast of the urban area of Kharzysk , about 15 kilometers from the city center of Kharzysk and 30 kilometers east of the Donetsk Oblast Center on the Krynka River.

Administratively, the place belongs to the municipality of Kharzysk and is in turn subordinate to the settlement council of Trojitsko-Kharzysk together with 4 other urban-type settlements and a village .

The place was previously called Pokrovskyj and is a subsidiary of the southeastern village of Pokrovka in Amvrosiivka Raion , it has had the status of an urban-type settlement since 1957. During the war in Ukraine , the place was occupied by separatists from the Donetsk People's Republic in 2014 .
