Ukrajinsk ( Ukrainian Українськ ; Russian Украинск Ukrainsk ) is a city in the Ukrainian Donetsk Oblast with about 12,000 inhabitants (2016).

Ukrajinsk was founded in 1952 as a workers' settlement Lessowka ( Лесовка ) of the Ukrajinsk coal mine and in 1963 received the city status and the name of the neighboring mine. In 1970 the city had a population of over 20,000 which had fallen to below 12,000 by 2015.

Ukrajinsk is located in the Donbas and administratively belongs to the urban district of the city of Selydowe, 10 km to the north . The Donetsk Oblast Center is located 45 km southeast of Ukrajinsk.
