Yarova

Jarowa ( Ukrainian Ярова ; Russian Яровая Jarowaja ) is an urban-type settlement in eastern Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast with about 2,400 inhabitants.

The settlement is located in the west of the Lyman district , about 13 kilometers northwest of the Lyman district center and 120 kilometers north of the Donetsk Oblast center north of the Siverskyi Donets river.

In addition to Jarowa, the village of Oleksandriwka ( Олександрівка ) and the settlement of Sosnowe ( Соснове ) belong to the settlement council of the same name, and the Swjati Hory National Park extends north of the place .

The place was first mentioned in writing in 1670 and received urban-type settlement status in 1938.
