Otscheretyne

Otscheretyne ( Ukrainian Очеретине ; Russian Очеретино Otscheretino ) is an urban-type settlement in the center of the Ukrainian Donetsk Oblast with about 3,600 inhabitants.

The village is located about 34 km northwest of the Rajon center Jassynuwata and 47 km north of Donetsk and has a train station on the Dnipro- Jassynuwata railway line . The N 20 road runs east of the settlement .

Otscheretyne was founded in 1880 in connection with the construction of the railway and the railway station and is the administrative center of a settlement council within the Yasynuwata district , which also includes the urban-type ceramic ( Керамік ) settlement with around 360 inhabitants. Since 1957 the settlement has had the status of an urban-type settlement.
