Holmiwskyj (Ukrainian Гольмівський ; Russian Гольмовский / Golmowski ) is an urban-type settlement in eastern Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast with about 6,900 inhabitants.

The urban-type settlement is located in the north of the urban area of Horlivka , about 12 kilometers from the city center and 51 kilometers north of the Donetsk Oblast Center on the Bachmutka River (Бахмутка).

Administratively, the place belongs to the municipality of Horliwka and forms here in turn as part of the Mykytiwka district together with the settlement of Hladossowe (Гладосове) a separate settlement council.

The place was founded in 1875 and has had urban-type settlement status since 1938. During the war in Ukraine , the place was occupied by separatists from the Donetsk People's Republic in 2014 .
