Bylbassiwka ( Ukrainian Билбасівка ; Russian Былбасовка Bylbassowka ) is an urban-type settlement in the north of the Ukrainian Donetsk Oblast with about 6200 inhabitants (as of 2014)., 5994 (as of 2018-01-01).

Bylbassivka is located in Slovyansk Raion on the bank of Sukhy Torez and borders the city of Slovyansk to the east . The village, founded in 1670, received the status of an urban-type settlement on November 15, 1938 and is located about 120 km north of the Oblast capital Donetsk . In addition to the main town, the north-lying village of Torez belongs to the settlement council of the same name . The place has a train station of the Donetska Salisnyzja .
