Bulawynske (Ukrainian Булавинське ; Russian Булавинское / Bulavinskoje ) is an urban-type settlement in the east of the Ukrainian Donetsk Oblast with about 3,000 inhabitants. The place is located 46 kilometers southeast of the Rajons capital Bachmut and 46 kilometers northeast of the Oblast capital Donetsk on the Bulawyna River (Булавина). The name is derived from Bulawyne (Булавине) further north .

Bulawynske was founded in 1956 as a housing estate for the miners of the Bulawynska shaft of the same name (Шахта "Булавинська"). During the war in Ukraine it was briefly occupied by separatists in the summer of 2014, but was again brought under control by Ukrainian troops, since February 2015 Place after the end of the battle for Debaltseve under the control of pro-Russian separatists of the Donetsk People's Republic .

Until December 11, 2014, the settlement belonged administratively to the city of Jenakijewe and was then attached to today's Bachmut Rajon .

Together with the urban-type settlements Oleksandriwske , Oleniwka and Prybereschne, it forms the settlement council of the same name.
