La Violette was a French car brand.

Company history

The company Franc et Cie from Levallois-Perret started producing automobiles in 1910. Production ended in 1914.

The first model was released in 1910 and was a small vehicle to which the criteria for cyclecars of 1912 were correct. It had a single cylinder engine with a displacement of 700 cm³ . The drive took place on one of the two rear wheels. A two-cylinder model followed in 1913 , also with a unicycle drive. In addition, the four-cylinder 10 CV model with cardan drive and a four-seater body appeared in 1913 .
