Club structure

The SK Sturm Graz is a members club. It is led by a Presidium ("Board of Directors") and represented externally by the President. The organs of the association are structured as follows:

  • The general meeting
  • The board of directors
  • The Bureau
  • The arbitral tribunal
  • Two auditors

Members and General Assembly

The general assembly is the highest organ of the association to which all other organs are accountable. A so-called ordinary general assembly takes place every four years, extraordinary general assemblies can take place by resolution of the board of directors, upon application of the president, auditor or auditor, upon a written application of at least 1/10 of the voting members or upon a resolution of the ordinary general assembly . Each full member has only one vote; in the case of family membership, a well-known person must be selected before the meeting. Elections and resolutions are usually made with a simple majority of the votes; resolutions to change the statutes of the association or to dissolve the association must be made by a 2/3 majority. The President or his deputy chairs the General Assembly if the President is absent. In the absence of the Vice-President, the oldest member of the Board of Directors present in years shall chair; if the entire Board of Directors is prevented from doing so, the oldest full member present in years. Members entitled to vote are full members and one of the family members . Membership is divided as follows:

category Annual membership fee Eligibility to vote
extraordinary member 40 € No
Full member 100 € Yes
proper family member € 125 Yes
Honorary member and honorary president - -
sporting members (> 18 years) - -
young sporting members (<18 years) - -

Board of Directors and Presidium

The board of the association consists of at least 5 and a maximum of 15 regular members. These will be elected by the general assembly. The choice is made without determining the functions. Within 14 days of the election, the elected board of directors must elect members who make up the presidium, consisting of:

  • the president
  • one or two vice presidents
  • the CFO
  • the deputy chief financial officer
