Baron is about 25 kilometers north-northwest of Nîmes . Baron is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Just-et-Vacquières in the north and north-west, Aigaliers in the east and north-east, Foissac in the south-east, Collorgues in the south, Saint-Maurice-de-Cazevieille in the west and south-west, Saint-Jean-de- Ceyrargues in the west and Euzet in the northwest.
