MAFZ pairs in Glien

The festival initially took place in 2005 and 2006 on the grounds of the Märkisches Exhibition and Leisure Center (MAFZ) in Paaren im Glien in Brandenburg, west of Berlin. In addition to an open-air stage, there was a smaller, second stage within the premises of the MAFZ.

Post Stadium Berlin-Mitte

In 2007, the area of the Post Stadium in Berlin-Mitte was used with two open air stages. In addition, the Tape Club near the main train station, where the nightly events took place, was included, as the festival had to observe noise protection requirements due to its inner city location.

Tempelhof

From 2009 to 2013, the festival site was under the hangars and on the concrete apron of Berlin-Tempelhof Airport. Except for the main stage, the four other stages were below the hangars. The former check-in counters were used for issuing ribbons. There were no separate camp and parking facilities around the festival site. Due to noise protection requirements , open-air concerts on the former airport site are only allowed to take place until midnight. In Club XBERG in and around the Arena Berlin , the festival continued until 6 a.m. The visitors came to this chargeable additional offer by means of shuttle buses .

Arena Park

The organizer calls the Arena Park the Arena Berlin with the adjacent clubs such as the White Trash, the Club of Visionaries, the Glashaus, the Hoppetosse and the Badeschiff .
