Pervomajske (Ukrainian Первомайське ; Russian Первомайское / Pervomaiskoje ) is an urban-type settlement in eastern Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast with about 500 inhabitants.
geography
The urban-type settlement located in the Don Basin , about 65 kilometers east of Oblastzentrum Donetsk and 4 kilometers southeast from the center of Snizhne to the city county counts them away.
The place is located within the city of Snizhne in the settlement council municipality Pervomajskyj (2 kilometers south), through the place the river Vilchowchyk (Вільховчик) flows in a southerly direction.
history
Pervomajske was created before the First World War and was initially called Removskie Rudniki (Ремовские Рудники), the mining settlement was given urban-type settlement status in 1957, at the same time it was renamed to its current name and has been by separatists since the summer of 2014 during the war in Ukraine Occupied Donetsk People's Republic .
