Birthhouses of famous people are attractions and sights from a tourist and cultural point of view as well as historical and local history aspects .
Birth houses of famous people can be listed in the following list if the house
- in public bears the name of the personality born in it;
- houses a museum dedicated to this person or their work;
- plays a role in the later work of the person, for example literary processing, studio
- is at least recognizable as such by a publicly perceptible notice, for example by a sign saying Here was ... born .
In order to still count as a "birthplace":
- at least parts of the actual birth house are still standing;
- a memorial or plaque explicitly reminds of the birthplace, for example with a sign. The birthplace of… was shown here .
