The 2011/12 OHL season was the 32nd season of the Ontario Hockey League . The regular season began on September 21, 2011 and ended on March 18, 2012. The London Knights won the Hamilton Spectator Trophy as the team with the highest points in the preliminary round . The play-offs began on March 22, 2012 and ended with the second J. Ross Robertson Cup win of the London Knights on May 11, 2012, who prevailed in the OHL final against the Niagara IceDogs .
