PFA Awards

The PFA Awards are a series of awards that have been presented annually by Professional Footballers Australia (PFA), the Australian football players' union, since 2009 . In addition to Australia's footballer of the year and the Australian U-23 footballer of the year, the A-League team of the season and the A-League coach and referee of the year are also elected. The members of the PFA are entitled to vote. In addition to the PFA Awards, there are also a number of awards from the Australian Football Association Football Federation Australia every year .

The best player in the A-League or Australian footballer abroad is honored as Footballer of the Year . Accordingly, foreign players working in Australia can in principle also receive awards. So far, however, the title has always gone to an Australian player.
