The 66th Emmy -Verleihung in the category of prime time ( 66th Primetime Emmy Awards ) took place on August 25, 2014 Nokia Theater , a theater in Los Angeles , California instead. The nominations were announced on July 10, 2014. Programs that were broadcast between June 1, 2013 and May 31, 2014 were taken into account.
