The tables show the line-up of the teams at the 1992 Chess Olympiad in Manila . 102 teams took part in the Olympics and played a tournament in the Swiss system over 14 rounds. Among them were two other teams from the host country in addition to the A selection. The rating was primarily based on board points, then based on the Buchholz rating and finally on team points. Each team consisted of four regular players and a maximum of two substitute players. As far as there were no play teams, they received two board and team points each in the respective round. There was no assignment to individual players. The registered teams from Yemen and Kenya did not arrive. They were included in the pairings up to the third round, which resulted in their opponents' victories without a fight, which were usually rated as 4: 0 and were also written to the players as individual victories without a fight.
