• At the European motorcycle championship held in Spa-Francorchamps , Belgium , the local René Milhoux on Ready- Blackburne wins the title in the 175 cm³ class ahead of the German Albert Beckert ( DKW ). Other starters did not reach the finish.
• In the quarter liter class, the Briton Jock Porter on New Gerrard prevails against his compatriot Geoff Davison ( New Imperial ). In this race, too, only two drivers reached the finish.
• In the 350 cc class, Brit Frank Longman won on AJS ahead of Austrian Otto Putz ( Sunbeam ) and local R. Demulder ( Indian ).
• In the 500 cm³ class, the Briton Jimmie Simpson wins on AJS ahead of the Austrian Rupert Karner (Sunbeam) and the Irishman Stanley Woods ( Norton ).

German motorcycle road championship

• The German motorcycle road championship will be held on a single track for the first time.
• German champions become Arthur Müller ( DKW , 175 cm³), Arthur Geiss (DKW, 250 cm³), Arthur Lohse ( Schüttoff , 350 cm³), Ernst Jakob Henne ( BMW , 500 cm³) and Paul Rüttchen ( Harley-Davidson , 1000 cm³) .
