Ted Budd

Theodore Paul "Ted" Budd (born October 21, 1971 in Davie County , North Carolina ) is an American politician . Since January 3, 2017, he has represented the state of North Carolina in the US House of Representatives .

Career

In 1990 Ted Budd graduated from Davie County High School . He then studied economics at Appalachian State University until 1994 . He graduated from the School of Business at Wake Forest University . He was initially employed by two companies and then founded his own business in which he still deals in weapons today. Budd is a member of numerous organizations and associations, including the National Rifle Association .

Politically, he joined the Republican Party . In the 2016 congressional election , Budd was elected to the US House of Representatives in the 13th  constituency of North Carolina against Bruce Davis, Democrat, in Washington, DC , where he succeeded George Holding , who was in the second constituency, on January 3, 2017 changed.
