.eh

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

.eh is the planned country-specific top-level domain (ccTLD) for the controversial area of Western Sahara .

Both the government of Western Sahara and Morocco claim the top-level domain .eh for themselves. Both have sent an application to ICANN in order to be able to manage the domain. As a result, ICANN has not assigned the domain to either of the two conflicting parties and refuses to do so unless the two applicants work together peacefully. As this is currently hopeless, the .eh domain will not be assigned in the foreseeable future.
