.ss

.ss is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the state of South Sudan . It was introduced by the IANA on August 31, 2011 , but has only been in use since the beginning of 2019. Originally, in April 2013, a representative of the State Ministry of Telecommunications confirmed that the ccTLD was being prepared for release and that .ss domains could be registered this year. As of February 2019, the domain is registered in the root zone and can therefore be used.
