.sx

.sx is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Sint Maarten . It was created through the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles and has existed since December 20, 2010 .

Registry

At the same time as .sx, .bq for the Caribbean Netherlands and .cw for Curaçao were introduced. The registry for .sx is operated by SX Registry SA , which is a joint venture between the Luxembourg and Canadian registrars OpenRegistry and MediaFusion . Domains under .sx can be registered by anyone for any purpose, a residence on Sint Maarten is not required. The registry only allows alphanumeric characters and addresses with a length between three and 63 characters.
