.va is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the Vatican City . It has existed since September 11, 1995 and is administered directly by the Holy See . Domains are only given for official purposes of the Vatican City or the Holy See and cannot be reserved freely.

Therefore the ending belongs to the ccTLDs with the fewest active addresses. Most recently she achieved greater fame in 2005 than Benedict XVI. was elected Pope and in the course of which numerous new domains were registered.
