.id is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Indonesia . It was on 27. February 1993 introduced and managed by the contracting authority PANDI managed.

Domains were originally issued exclusively on the third level. Since August 17, 2014, registrations on the second level ( second-level domain ) have also been generally possible.
