.bl

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

.bl is the planned country-specific top-level domain (ccTLD) for the Antillean island of Saint-Barthélemy , which was listed in the Root Zone Database on October 11, 2007 due to its official inclusion in the ISO 3166-1 standard list of IANA . The TLD has not been assigned to this day (as of September 2019) and is therefore not in the root zone of the Domain Name System , just like .mf on the neighboring island of St. Martin . Instead, the domains .fr and .gp are often used.

This top-level domain was registered with the IANA on October 11, 2007 , as it was created when it was officially added to the ISO 3166-1 standard list. It is an associated ending that would normally be administered by the same registry as the ccTLD .fr . This would currently be the AFNIC .
