.uz is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Uzbekistan . It was introduced on April 29, 1995 and is administered by the Computerization and Information Technologies Developing Center (UZINFOCOM for short) in Tashkent .

Domains are assigned on both the second and third level. Each .uz domain must be between two and 63 characters long, the only requirement is a functioning name server . In February 2017, the number of registered domains was over 31,000.
