.gu is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) Guams . They were introduced on April 15, 1994 and are administered by the University of Guam .

Domains are only registered on the third level. The following second-level domains exist :

  • com.gu - commercial company
  • net.gu - Internet Service Provider (ISP)
  • gov.gu - government and other agencies
  • org.gu - non-profit organizations
  • edu.gu - educational institutions

A .gu domain can be between three and 63 characters long and only contain alphanumeric characters . Internationalized domain names are not supported. The top-level domain can only be used by natural and legal persons based in Guam.
