properties

There are no particular restrictions on this domain. Anyone can register an .am address. Registrations are made on both the second and third level.

Since AM is also an abbreviation for amplitude modulation , which is used among other things for medium wave , various radio stations use the top-level domain. The Californian company BRS Media Inc. is responsible for the actual operation. It also manages .fm and has applied for a new top-level domain on the same topic with .radio .

meaning

Despite its free availability, .am plays a subordinate role internationally. The most expensive .am addresses ever traded include booking.am and webc.am , which refers to webcam .
