.ky is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the Cayman Islands . It was introduced on May 3, 1995 and is administered by the Information and Communications Technology Authority of the Cayman Islands.

Domains are registered on both the second and third level. The following second-level domains exist : .com.ky for companies , .org.ky for non-profit organizations , .net.ky for Internet service providers , .edu.ky for educational institutions and .gov.ky for the Caymans government. In addition to .ky , the top-level domain .cym is reserved for the islands, which is why it was not assigned to Wales in 2010 .
