.zr

.zr was the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the Republic of Zaire .

Shortly after it was introduced, the state renamed itself the Democratic Republic of the Congo , which was assigned the new top-level domain .cd . The old top-level domain .zr was then emptied and finally deleted in 2001.
