Registrations are carried out on both the second and third level. The second-level domains are .org.kg for non-profit organizations , .net.kg for Internet service providers , .com.kg for commercial companies , .edu.kg for academic institutions, .gov.kg for the government as well . mil.kg for the military to choose from. In total, a .kg domain can be between three and 63 characters long and only consist of alphanumeric characters ; internationalized domain names are not yet supported. Unlike many other ccTLDs, it is not necessary to have a residency or branch office in the country to register a .kg domain. The administrative contact person does not have to be in the country either, so that .kg can be used by foreigners without any problems.
