The list includes bridges across the Danube , from its source to its mouth in the Black Sea . In addition to actual bridges, power plants are also included, some of which are open to private traffic (mostly only during the day and only for cyclists and pedestrians).

The bridge was built from 1952 to 1954. Road and rail traffic is routed across the Danube on two levels, one above the other. At 2224 m, the bridge is one of the longest bridges over the Danube. The middle section can be raised from 21 m to 29 m clearance for ocean-going ships.
