By November 2019, the band Die Toten Hosen had published 174 cover versions and arrangements , some under the pseudonym Die Roten Rosen . Six of the band's albums almost exclusively contain such pieces of music: Never Mind The Hosen - Here's Die Roten Rosen from 1987 consists of " rocky " redesigned German-language hits , Learning English Lesson One from 1991 is a tribute to the role models of the band from the British and American punk scene . We are waiting for Christkind from 1998 consists largely of parodies of Christmas and winter songs, the second part of the double album Ballast der Republik from 2012 with the title The Spirits We Called consists of German-language music with a political reference. The double concert album Entartete Musik - Willkommen in Deutschland from 2015, which the band recorded together with the symphony orchestra of the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf , was created to commemorate the music that was denigrated as Degenerate Music by the National Socialists . In May 2017 the double album Laune der Natur was released, the second part of which is entitled Learning English Lesson Two and consists exclusively of English language cover versions. Further cover versions and adaptations were recorded at live concerts or published on the B-sides of singles .
