- Note for Kaga 加賀: System of lines connecting hot-spring resorts (onsen 温泉) at Awazu 粟津, Katayamazu 片山津, Yamanaka 山中 and Yamashiro 山代 with Awazu 粟津, Daishōji 大聖寺 and Iburihashi 動橋 railway stations. Most segments were built under tramway concessions ("licenses"). These were changed to local railway concessions following electrification. The initial segment opened on 18 Oct 1899. The lines were electrified in 1913 - 1914 with some new segments to complete the system. The lines were closed in 1963 - 1971, with the final closure on 10 Jul 1971. The short segment between Iburihashi 動橋 railway station and Katayamazu 片山津was opened with horse traction on 15 Apr 1914. Electric operation was inaugurated on 23 Nov 1922 and this segment was closed on 24 Sep 1965.
