List of active units of the Bundeswehr
This list of active and partially active units of the Bundeswehr gives an overview of regiments , squadrons , battalions and groups as well as equivalent units such as schools, training facilities and other departments of the Bundeswehr . It is arranged by the armed forces and ability commands (Hazardous Areas) and branches of service in the army. Unless they have their own article, the associations are linked to the higher command levels or major associations . The structure as well as the subordinate relationships were taken from the official web presence of the armed forces base, the army, the air force, the navy and the medical service.
Federal Ministry of Defense (BMVg)
Bundeswehr departments reporting directly to the Inspector General
With the exception of the Federal Office, these departments are part of the armed forces. The Federal Office for the Military Counter-Intelligence Service is a civil higher federal authority and is therefore not part of the armed forces .
