Cerrado was a Brazilian car brand.

A company with the brand name Cerrado , probably from the Midwest region , manufactured automobiles during the 1970s .

The only model was a VW buggy . An air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine from Volkswagen do Brasil in the rear drove the rear wheels. The open body was made of fiberglass . A roll-over device was located behind the front seats . The round headlights were integrated into the front of the vehicle.
