The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis ( lat. : Archidioecesis Paulopolitana et Minneapolitana , Engl. : Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis ) is a in the State of Minnesota situated Roman Catholic Archdiocese .

The archbishopric was founded on July 19, 1850 from areas of the Diocese of Dubuque and the Diocese of Milwaukee as the Diocese of Saint Paul. The ecclesiastical province of Saint Louis belonging, it moved over Milwaukee on February 12, 1875 to form the ecclesiastical province.
