Bey is located in the Bresse countryside about nine kilometers south-southeast of Mâcon and about 29 kilometers west-northwest of Bourg-en-Bresse . Bey is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cormoranche-sur-Saône in the north, Cruzilles-lès-Mépillat in the east and Garnerans in the south and west.
