Bey is a French municipality with 279 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ain in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Bourg-en-Bresse and the canton Vonnas (until 2015: canton Pont-de-Veyle ).
geography
Bey is located in the Bresse countryside about nine kilometers south-southeast of Mâcon and about 29 kilometers west-northwest of Bourg-en-Bresse . Bey is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cormoranche-sur-Saône in the north, Cruzilles-lès-Mépillat in the east and Garnerans in the south and west.
