During and after World War II , nearly 430,000 prisoners of war were housed in the United States . POW camps had been set up throughout the United States with the exception of Nevada , North Dakota , Washington, and Vermont .

Interrogation centers

  • US Army Interrogation Center , 1142 (US Interrogation Center ) , Eleven FortyTwo.
