Lapeyrouse is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Bouligneux in the north, Villars-les-Dombes in the east, Birieux in the southeast, Saint-Marcel in the south, Monthieux in the southwest, Ambérieux-en-Dombes in the west and Sainte-Olive in the northwest.
