The Bleckley County is a county in the state of Georgia to the United States . The county seat is Cochran .

The county is roughly in the middle of Georgia and has an area of 568 square kilometers, of which five square kilometers are water. It is bordered clockwise by the following counties: Laurens County , Dodge County , Pulaski County , Houston County, and Twiggs County .
history
Bleckley County was formed on July 30, 1912 as the 145th county from parts of Pulaski County and named after Logan Bleckley , a Georgia Supreme Court Justice.
