The Camden County is a county in the state of Georgia to the United States . The county seat is Woodbine .

The county is located in the extreme southeast of Georgia, borders the Atlantic Ocean to the east and Florida to the south and has an area of 2027 square kilometers, of which 395 square kilometers are water surface; it is bordered clockwise by the following counties: Charlton County , Brantley County, and Glynn County .
history
Camden County was formed as the second county in Georgia on February 5, 1777 as the original county. It was named after Charles Pratt, 1st Earl Camden , an English Lord Chancellor .
