The Candler County is located in the state of Georgia to the United States . The county seat is Metter .

The county is located in east-east Georgia and has an area of 644 square kilometers, of which five square kilometers are water and is bordered clockwise by the following counties: Bulloch County , Evans County , Tattnall County , Toombs County and Emanuel County .
history
Candler County was formed on July 14, 1914 as the 48th County from parts of Bulloch County, Emanuel County and Tattnall County. It was named after Allen Candler , a former Georgia governor.
