The Tattnall County is a county in the US state of Georgia to the United States . The county seat is Reidsville .

The county is located in southeast Georgia, about 90 km from the Atlantic Ocean and has an area of ​​1,264 square kilometers, of which twelve square kilometers are water, and is bordered clockwise by the following counties: Candler County , Evans County , Liberty County , Long County , Wayne County , Appling County, and Toombs County .

history

Tattnall County was formed on December 5, 1801. It was named after Josiah Tattnall , a politician and governor of Georgia.
