The Tattnall County is a county in the US state of Georgia to the United States . The county seat is Reidsville .

The county is located in southeast Georgia, about 90 km from the Atlantic Ocean and has an area of 1,264 square kilometers, of which twelve square kilometers are water, and is bordered clockwise by the following counties: Candler County , Evans County , Liberty County , Long County , Wayne County , Appling County, and Toombs County .

Tattnall County was formed on December 5, 1801. It was named after Josiah Tattnall , a politician and governor of Georgia.

According to the 2010 census, the then 25,520 inhabitants were distributed over 8,210 inhabited households, which gives an average of 2.52 people per household. There are a total of 9,966 households.
